Knowthings at oneM2M™ Hackathon Dallas 2018

Team KnowThingsAnnouncement, News0 Comments was proud to be a sponsor of oneM2M™ Hackathon Dallas 2018, which took place on March 9 and 10 at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Apart from, the hackathon was hosted by ETSI, Tech Titans, Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), and UTD, with the support of Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Deutsche Telekom, InterDigital, and Sensinov.

This event presented the IoT vision, challenges, and efforts by standardization bodies as well as an introduction of the oneM2M standard as the key solution for IoT cross-domain interoperability. Student participant groups were asked to integrate heterogeneous IoT devices and develop IoT applications based on the project, Eclipse OM2M, which offers a fully open source implementation of the oneM2M standard.

The hackathon focused on the theme of Smart Cities. CEO Anand Kameswaran (AK) was among the judges of the hackathon contest, and sponsored the contest prizes for the participants. For more details on this event, see the press release from Interdigital.
